I am a graduated master student from Animal Sciences Master program, with specialization in Adaptation Physiology, at Wageningen University, the Netherlands. I have done my bachelor studies in Biology, at the Department of Biology, at the University of Crete, Greece. I am specialized in Microbiology and Immunology of poultry and the title of my Master Thesis was “Gut microbiota composition in relation to chicken’s monocyte/macrophage activity”.
My main goal as an animal scientist is to work with people who want to improve animals’ health and welfare under the perspective of a better quality of life not only for humans but also for animals. My personal ambition is a successful career in the field of Animal Sciences which will give me the ability to contribute to the productive reconstruction and evolution of Greek Agriculture in the future.
